hello!

its been a couple of weeks so im just checking in. i hope everyone's summer is going well!

i was also wondering if anyone would be interested in getting together for another group chat to work on the collab round and brainstorm a bit? if so, would next weekend or sometime this week be the best time for that?

finally, just a reminder that round one is closing this saturday. i was thinking thursday would be a good time to look at what everyone's made so far (on the group tumblr maybe?) and decide what we want to submit. im really excited to see what all everyone's created!

EDIT: it might be more convenient to do the group chat on thursday and kill two birds with one stone

ok, anyways, it looks like meeting later works out better so here are the relevant times for all you folk out there

6:00PM pacific
7:00PM mountain
8:00PM central
9:00PM eastern

i'll be using aol through trillian to invite everyone.

also i'll be messing around a little early to try to intercept any technical difficulties, so if you get an invite a bit before then do not fear you're not late.

finally, could the prompt for the collab round be any more perfect for our ship??

hey all

sometime this weekend i'd like to get a group chat going where we can mingle and discuss the first main round/next bonus round.

since A) the majority of us live in the eastern time zone and B) most of us have trillian, my tentative plan was for us to chat on AIM this SUNDAY starting at 3:00PM on EASTERN TIME (that's 2:00PM central and noon pacific).

anyone without either aim or trillian can sign up for trillian which i'm given to understand is awesome anyways.

if this works for everyone, cool beans. if not, please speak up. i don't want anyone left out or unnecessarily inconvenienced. all input is more than welcome!

This really, really important!! Tumblr would be preferred to not use to get a hold of each other, but if it really gets down to it, then we'll use that--but only for short messages, or just a hey dude you need answer this, or what's going on why haven't you been active?? Tumblr isn't very reliable for constant messaging so :/

But please leave a comment of where we can contact you and you'll answer asap???? And how do you guys want to do group discussions?? I think making a new a post here at the comm for everyone to reply on , and if we need to set up a time to have a group chat on a IM because replying on the forum is way too slow, we'll do that--and I know everyone doesn't use the same IM cilent, but I'm pretty okay for whatever you all have since I use Trillian and it allows me to be logged on everything?? But maybe we should use pesterchum?? Idk, discuss what you want!

Hello, fellow Davesprite♥John team members! ^u^! As the title says, introduce yourself!! I myself don't know any of you, but I would definitely like to!! We will be working together for the next some months, and it would definitely be great if we could become a close-knit team! (I especially want/need to know you guys since I am your palhoncho!! ;u;)

Some of you are probably shy to talk to new people, but I'm sure none of you bite and are super friendly! uvu! So don't worry and get yourself out there!

This is a big team effort, so please do and help as much as you can!! No slacking allowed!! Because dang, it'd be really unfair if it's only a few team members who are doing most of the work while others sit back! If you honestly, honestly feel like you won't be able to participate all the way through (i.e. dropping out at some point, or just really not doing your part), please, please tell me/us now?? ;___; I read a few palhoncho's experiences from last year of people dropping out or not participating at all, and it's sounds really frustrating and screws over the team--I don't doubt that we will have troubles later on! But it'd be super cool if we can avoid the formers??? So we can also try to work something out now before we get to that point (which we hopefully won't at all)!!

Okay anyway, back on the main rails!! Introduce yourself! If you don't know really what to say, just tell us at least:
-name/nickname
-age (if you want to!)
-why you chose this ship for hso (I am p sure most of you went for dave/john first, haha)
-two things about yourself
-the other ships you chose (maybe we can bond over other ships??)
-how you will be contributing to our team! ^u^! (i.e. art, writing, other??)

Edit: OH. Please tell us where you live?? Just for timezones sake so we can have set times and stuff when we need to have group discussions and shit. You don't have to say where specifically, but at least what your timezone group is?? Thanks!
